"I Was Wrong” — A Tribute to the One Who Always Stood By Me | By Joss Collen

Life has a way of teaching us lessons too late. Sometimes, we only realize the value of a person after they’re no longer around. That’s the story behind my upcoming song “I Was Wrong” — a heartfelt tribute to my grandmother, the one person who never gave up on me, even when I was too childish to see it. 💔 The Heart of the Song My grandmother wasn’t just family — she was a force of love and protection. While the world seemed to turn against me, she was the one who stood by my side. She fought for me, defended me, and believed in me when no one else did. Yet, in my youthful mischievousness, I didn’t always understand her value. I made fun of her sometimes — of her age, her habits, the little things that now feel like precious memories. I didn’t see the countless sacrifices she made. I didn’t realize how rare it is to have someone who truly loves you without conditions. “I Was Wrong” was born out of this realization — a mix of regret, nostalgia, and hope. A song that carries the words I ...

10.Joss Collen Unveils “Made of Maybe” — A Song Born from Struggle, Resilience, and Self-Discovery

Made of Maybe — The Story Behind My Most Personal Song Yet

(Made of maybe ~Joss Collen song)

Life isn’t always about clear answers. Sometimes it’s about the silence, the questions, and the weight of things left unsaid. My new song, “Made of Maybe,” releasing September 24, 2025, was born from those exact feelings.

This isn’t just another track I made in the studio — it’s a reflection of my real struggles. A time when everything seemed to crash at once:

I gave my 100% at work, only to be unfairly terminated.

The company I worked for refused to pay my dues.

My family, instead of supporting me, only piled on pressure for money.

I was left broken but not destroyed — stuck in that grey area of existence. Not lost, not found. Just paper thin.

The Questions That Inspired the Song

“Why am I like this?”
“Why did you make me this way, God?”
“Why do I try so hard but still get pushed aside?”

These weren’t just random thoughts — they were daily questions echoing in my mind. And instead of drowning in them, I turned them into music. That’s how Made of Maybe came to life.

The lyrics talk about the in-between state of being — when you’re too heavy to float but too light to drown. When you smile for the world but see cracks in the mirror. When every win feels like a test and every breath feels like second-guessing.

The Sound of Made of Maybe

Musically, the track blends dark-pop with emotional ballad energy. It’s not about being flashy or loud — it’s about pulling listeners into that quiet storm we all go through but rarely talk about. The sound is moody, layered, and haunting — just like the emotions that built it.

The chorus, “I’m made of maybe, built from why / A whisper in a world that’s shoutin’ loud outside,” captures exactly how it feels to exist in uncertainty, yet still find meaning in it.

What Made of Maybe Means to Me

To me, this song isn’t a weakness — it’s proof that even in the darkest times, we can create something powerful. Maybe isn’t failure. Maybe is possibility. It’s hope disguised as confusion.

So when I say I’m made of maybe, I’m not saying I’m broken. I’m saying I’m still here, still questioning, still searching — and that’s okay.

Release Date & Where to Listen

Made of Maybe will be released on September 24, 2025, across all platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Amazon Music, and more.

This track is for anyone who’s ever felt caught between what they are and what they could be. For anyone who’s been left with questions instead of answers. For anyone made of “maybe.”

7.How I Created ‘Drama in Aisle Five’ as an Independent Artist (No Team, No Studio, Just Me)

How Overthinking Turned Me Into an Indie Rapper-Comedian You ever just lie on your bed, staring at the ceiling, overthinking life like… “What even am I doing?” That was me — stuck in my head, thinking everything’s messed up, feeling like I had nothing to show for anything I was chasing. No fame, no big breaks, no team behind me. Just vibes, struggle, and late-night thoughts. And then out of nowhere, this random little tune hit me. I swear it was just a silly melody at first, but it stuck hard. I kept humming it like a madman for hours. It was weirdly catchy. And that’s when it clicked — "What if I turn this chaos of a life into a song?" I thought I was wasting time—until the beat hit back. So I jotted down a chorus about my life – the funny failures, the clumsy moments, the embarrassing drama that somehow follows me everywhere (especially aisles, lol). But I won’t lie – my lyrics were kinda mid, so I fed the vibe into ChatGPT and BOOM — out came something wild. That’s how ‘Dr...
